Who We Are
Our Mission
The mission of Seed Ministries International is to teach believers who they are in Christ Jesus and how to live a victorious life – spirit, soul, and body – so that they will be renewed and restored from the inside out and will be empowered to go forth and bring real change to other members of the Body of Christ.
Our Vision
We are called to help people take root downward and bear fruit upward. We assist believers in becoming rooted and grounded in the Word of God so that they bear the fruits of love, faith, healing, prosperity, redemption, and righteousness (II Kings 19:30; Galatians 5:22-23: III John 1:2).
We are called to shepherd. Shepherds have two primary objectives: to feed and protect their flocks according to God’s heart. We feed with knowledge and understanding of the Word of God and protect them from philosophy and foolish deception, which conform to human traditions and the way the world thinks and acts (Jeremiah 3:15; Colossians 2:8).
We are called to preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God. We preach the gospel to the poor, healing to the brokenhearted, liberty to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, and to proclaim what Jesus accomplished for us through His death, burial, and resurrection (Luke 4:18).
Our Team
Matt and Melanie Meyer have been involved in ministry for the past 20 years. They met at Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania where they were both performers in Biblical stage productions. They married and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where Matt became a worship leader and Melanie began leading prayer ministry and Bible studies. In 2022 they answered the call to found Seed Ministries International. Their heart and passion is to teach and train people how to experience the full goodness of God and how to multiply the truth around the world.
What We Believe
We believe in one God — Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, and was buried. He was resurrected and ascended into heaven. He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, and is true God and true man.
We believe that Jesus paid the ultimate price so that any person can be saved by confessing with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing with the heart that God raised Him from the dead.
We believe that the Bible in its entirety is the inspired Word of God, and it alone is the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal joy of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.
We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.
We believe in communion, the Lord’s Supper, as an act of remembering what Jesus did for us and proclaiming His death for us until He returns.
We believe in water baptism as a sign that we are dead to sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus our Lord.
We believe in divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in redemption.
We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the new birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance, in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the spirit. We believe that all of these are available to all believers.
We believe in telling the whole world the Good News of Jesus Christ and making disciples of all nations just as Jesus commanded.
We believe in the soon-coming return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
